FootballMe (footballme.me) is a free browser football game, operated as part of the MiTeam.pro coaching family ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you play and what we do with it. Questions: hello@miteam.pro.
You can play without an account. Your club, tactics, season and Daily Challenge history are saved in your own browser's local storage. That data stays on your device — clearing your browser data deletes it.
Signing in is optional and lets your season follow you across devices. We collect:

To name your league's rival clubs after real places, you can either tap "Use my location" or type a suburb or town. If you use your location, your browser shares your approximate coordinates once. If you type a place, that search text is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to find it. Either way, the coordinates are then sent to the OpenStreetMap Overpass service to look up nearby place names. We keep only the place names and rival club names, not your coordinates. You can always skip this and use classic names.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the game is used — for example how many people start a season, finish a match or share a result. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location (city level) and pages visited. We don't send your email or club details to Google. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies.
Some of these services store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We don't sell or rent your personal information.
FootballMe is a general-audience game. Accounts are intended for people aged 13 and over; younger players should play as a guest or have a parent or guardian set up the account. If you think a child has given us personal information without consent, contact us and we'll delete it.
We keep account data while your account is active. Email hello@miteam.pro to access, correct or delete your data, and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also use "Reset everything" in Club Management to clear your game data.
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
